I then shall live as one who’s been forgiven;
Ill walk with joy to know my debts are paid.
I know my name is clear before my Father;
I am His child, and I am not afraid.
So greatly pardoned, Ill forgive another;
The law of love I gladly will obey.
I then shall live as one who’s learned compassion;
I’ve been so loved that Ill risk loving, too.
I know how fear builds walls instead of bridges;
I dare to see another’s point of view.
And when relationships demand commitment,
Then Ill be there to care and follow through.
Your kingdom come around and through and in me,
Your power and glory, let them shine thru me.
Your Hallowed Name O may I bear with honor,
And may Your living Kingdom come in me.
The Bread of Life, O may I share with honor,
And may You feed a hungry world thru me.
Gloria Gaither

Oh this is lovely...(your post)
I'm so excited you translated my locket! Thank you so much!
Our house is over 100 years old, but that locket could have been there before the house was built, of course.
Thank you! Thank you!
What a nice message to find in the dirt!
Sorry to be off your topic...please forgive me.
Love, Debra
Hello Eve,
I saw your comment at Jean's place. Oh, I know that song as sung by Michael English. "I bowed on my knees and cried holy." What a song...our choir sang it a few years ago, and it was all we could do to get through it without tears flowing. It will be a wonderful day...and for eternity.
I didn't realize that Gloria Gaither had written the words to this song, "I then shall live." I posted that on my blog after I had gone to a Gaither concert and heard the men sing it. I googled and found the YouTube version. She is such a poet and so gifted. God has certainly used them thruogh the years.
Beautiful words and pictures.
Beautiful post. Thanks for sharing this.
Beautiful words...gets one to really think about things.
