The bible means so much more to me now than it did when I first opened it's pages. The promises haven't changed but I have. I know three things I didn't know then. I know now that his promises are true. I know his blood saves me and you and I know without a doubt, his love is real. These three things I know.
I have written the thoughts of my own heart on this blog, from the viewpoint of someone who has been saved for twenty eight years. I would say to those who fear their prayers are in vain, when they are feeling God doesn't hear them---God is good. He will not forsake you, and he will see you through.
If you will just believe and bring your case to Jesus Christ, you shall see the hand of the Lord stretched out to help you. People will fail you, but His word never fails. He has been so faithful to me, more times than I can count. Trust Him with all things. But don't expect him to do things the way you think they should be done. He has his own way of working things out for you. "Let go and let God"...he won't let you down.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I enjoyed reading yours. I had to stop and enjoy Eva Cassidy, thanks for that!
Take Care,
Stephanie
I agree, God's word is just that-His Word. He never breaks a promise. It's always good to hear that.
Love, Debra
Eve, we have never asked "Why us" - our faith has sustained us thru difficult days.I also have never prayed for healing of Wayne - if He decides to, best gift ever but I pray for the ability and courage to shower Wayne with love til the end of our days.
Jean, all I know is what I read in the Bible. I believe in healing.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” (James 5:12-15 KJV)
