PEOPLE GET READY---EVA CASSIDY

" My interest is in the future because I'm going to be spending the rest of my life there."
--- Charles Kettering

I couldn't have said that better myself. I am thinking about streets of gold and gates of pearl. That is where I am planning on living for eternity. I plan on loading up as many on that train, as I can. The legendary Eva Cassidy sings this with such emotion. Reat in peace, Dear Heart!

Ohh people get ready
There's a train a-coming
You don't need no baggage
You just get on board
All you need is faith
To hear diesels a- humming
You don't need no ticket
You just thank the Lord
Yeah yeah yeah

Hi Eve. Thanks for visiting my blog. The colored corn in the picture is colored popcorn. It used to come in a bag, that is the green, and other colors in the rooster. I don't know if you can still buy this, I am thinking you can. Hope that helps.

Thanks Suzanne. I really would like to try this. I raised my own sunflower seeds this year so I am off to a good start. : )

What a great singer---I love the song, and love Curtis Mayfield singing it too....
One thing I've always found disturbing, though, is the line [in talking about the train]:
"There ain't no room for the hopeless sinner..."
because on the train I'm riding on, there's GOT to be room for the hopeless sinner....

heartafire,,,I think the lyrics are talking about those who failed to get saved. The unbelievers.
